                  How to become certified as 1st generation founder

•

Contact me (Yamagawa San or Gushi)  and it will be conducted via email.

What you will receive:
• Your own family mon design (a traditional family crest/ emblem design)
• Your personalized headfounder certificate (in Japanese)
• A translation of what your certificates says
• A certificate saying you can teach a substyle of Daito-Ryu
• A dojo licenses (saying you are officially registered with the ZKSDRR)
• A certificate saying you are licensed through Iemoto Gunshi Williams
• A photo of Tanomo Saigo to display on your wall

Three certificates in all!
 

REQUIREMENTS
• Must be minimum of 35 years old
• Must be free from criminal record (supply background check from police)
• Must hold a 4th degree blackbelt rank or higher (exceptions can be made)
• Must not advertise membership in any Soke board
• Must supply name of person designated to succeed you
• Must organize dojo according to asian guidelines

. Must agree to not issue honorary ranks or titles
. Must agree to never sell diplomas or titles
. Must agree to wear appropriate dress code
. Must agree to not add stripes to your belt
. Must agree to attend seminars or conventions in your area

Fees
• Full registration package ........................ $500.00 US funds

• We design personal student diplomas for your style, many designs .......$100.00
 

• The Gunshi and assistant will give seminars worldwide for a weekend at $3000 plus travel & lodging costs ! (He can give seminars on anything you want from karate, to judo, jujitsu, grappling, MMA, striking, boxing, etc...) see his background resume here!

* You must understand that Gunshi is hard to impress, so, dont even try. he wants to see if you possess the basics upon which to create a new style, he knows the martial arts as well as anyone out there, he trained since 1947, so just make a nice video of your system, relax, this is not a test, and show why you think your new system should be sanctioned.

* Today, there is no uniformity concerning belts or ranks, some 4 th dans know far less than 1st dans, it depends on your teacher, so, the rank is just a general guide, lesser ranks might be ok, and higher ones might not, its all about the foundation of the new style because all new styles are a work in progress, to continue evolving for the rest of your life.

* All new styles only become a legitimate system when the creator dies, it will then have a history, so, dont think that we are looking for a new completed style from the new founders.

* You will sign several agreements for acceptance,you dont just recieve a diploma and you can do whatever you want because your new style is a division of the 1200-year-old samurai arts of the minamoto,  Matsudaira/ Matsudairi,  Hoshina, Aizu and Takeda clans, and its very reputation is on the line through your actions.
